Lake Geauga Club

We are the “Lake-Geauga Serra Club“. Our members serve the parishes of Lake and Geauga Counties of Ohio. Those parishes can be found here.

We are a local branch of Serra International/SerraUSA, chartered as “Serra Club of Lake & Geauga Counties in Ohio.” Launched in 1976, we are a volunteer group of women and men dedicated to supporting vocations in the Catholic Church.

Our Mission

  • To foster and promote vocations to the ministerial priesthood in the Catholic Church as a particular vocation to service, and to support priests in their sacred ministry;
  • To encourage and affirm vocations to consecrated religious life in the Catholic Church; and
  • To assist our members to recognize and respond in our own lives to God’s call to holiness in Jesus Christ and through the Holy Spirit.

We Meet

We hold our General Meeting on the third Wednesday of the month, at
Hellriegel’s restaurant in Painesville. The meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. with
Mass. We then have dinner, followed by our program-of-the month.

We also meet on First Friday’s for Holy Rosary and for Mass. Rosary begins at 6:30 p.m. The location is St. Bede the Venerable church in Mentor.
